To current and past members of All Souls and local friends...

You are invited to join us for a special service on Sunday 27th March to
mark an important event in the recent history of All Souls.
All Souls Church Office
Northcote Road The year 2000 saw the then Bishop of Kensington decide against selling
Twickenham the church here to developers, but ask St Stephen’s to ‘plant’ a new

Priest-in-Charge: Rev’d Richard Frank The leader of All Souls was to be known as Priest-in-Charge, not Vicar,
295 St Margarets Road reflecting an ‘experimental’ status for the church congregation and
Twickenham TW1 1PN
Tel: 020 8891 3504 giving more flexibility for the Bishop in an area where the
richardfrank@allsoulschurch.org.uk amalgamation of local parishes was being considered.

We celebrated the tenth birthday of the All Souls’ church plant in

October 2010 and it was already clear to the Diocese that All Souls was
no longer an experiment, but a fully-fledged, healthy and vibrant Parish
Church. Local parish boundaries have also been confirmed.

All Souls has therefore had its temporary status lifted and I will
therefore be “instituted and inducted” as “Vicar” of All Souls by Area
Dean, Rev Derek Simpson and our Archdeacon, Ven. Stephen Welch,
long-time friends of All Souls whom I look forward to welcoming here.

I hope you might, therefore, be able to help us celebrate this final part
of our “coming of age” period in All Souls’ life by joining us for the
10.30am service that day. It will be a service of Communion, with
children’s groups and followed by light refreshments.

I look forward to seeing you on the day if you’re able to be here.

As ever

Richard Frank (Rev)

3rd March 2011

A couple of practical notes:

1. If you’re not part of our normal congregation, could you let Sue (in the church
office) know you’re coming? 020 8891 6820 or sue@allsoulschurch.org.uk
2. If you are travelling from outside the area and must therefore drive, can I
remind you that there is very little parking around the church. Please leave
time to park further away.
