Dear Students,

Please do the following project in a group of 4.

1. Take any Bank of your choice and analyze the services provided by the respective bank.
Organize these services into core and additional services.
2. Study about the charges and price of their product for e.g. Charges for debit, credit cards,
demat account charges, savings, current, and a/c charges, loans and advances and deposits
interest rate.
Compare those charges with other competitive banks products.
3. Study about the marketing activities undertaken by the bank. Analyze the promotional
schemes undertaken by bank for targeting their potentiebal and existing customers. For e.g.
services for privileged customer, normal customer, RTGS FACILITY, DD FACILITY. etc..
4. study about the locational decisions like branches, ATM centers, collection schemes etc..
5. study about the promotional activities of bank in comparison with other competitive bank and
its effect.
6. Analyze the profitability position of the bank by past and present records and find out their
future strategies to cover major markets.

You all in your group need to visit the bank and find out the relevant information and prepare a
report based on the above outline and other information u collect and write the analysis, findings
and suggestions as u do in your master project.

We will have the presentation of this report on 4th Feb. 2011. Kindly pass this data to all in the
class and do this during our lecture timings and on 28 and 29 Jan and prepare report till 4th feb.
