2. PROJECT – CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

● Meaning of CSR

● Importance of CSR for companies

● CSR Initiatives taken by min 5 companies with pictures.

● Interview minimum two managers of any reputed company and collect information
about the activities they are doing as part of their social responsibility. And, whether
they have some business ethics (Code) in their organization or not? Etc.
● Newspaper cuttings related to the topic.

3. PROJECT - Visit to a Departmental store

The students are required to visit a departmental store and observe the following:
a) Different departments and their lay out.
b) Nature of products offered for sale.
c) Display of fresh arrivals.
d) Promotional campaigns.
e) Assistance by Sales Personnel.
f) Billing counter
facilities at store – Cash, Credit Card/ Debit Card, swipe facility. Added attractions and
at the counter.
g) Additional facilities offered to customers
h) Promotional tools used: Advertisements, Discount, Vouchers/Coupons, etc.
j) Any other relevant aspect & newspaper cuttings.

4. PROJECT - E-BUSINESS

● History of e-business

● Scope of e-business in today’s time.

● Resources required (eg. How a website is created? Etc.)

● Risks related to e-business

 ● Comparative analysis of any two competitors (websites) running as e-business in
detail.
● Prepare a questionnaire to check how comfortable people are with e-business.

● Brief about Cyber law

● Newspaper cuttings related to the topic.

5. PROJECT – Public Sector Bank Vs Private Sector Bank

⮚ Visit any two banks, one from Public Sector and one from Private Sector. Compare the
functions and services provided by both Banks. Prepare a detailed report on your findings.
(Example: Various types of Accounts options, Loans, present rates on deposits and loans,
locker facilities, credit and debit card services etc).
● Banking System in India.

● Brief history of both the banks which you are planning to visit.

● Services offered by both the banks.

● Policies & Strategies of both the banks.

● Conduct interview of few customers of both the banks and find out how satisfied they are
with the services provided.
● Any newspaper cutting related to these banks.

● Information about their promotional activities (Advertisements, etc)

● Comparison of both the banks.

6. Suppose you are the promoter of a Public limited Company, explain all the steps you will
undertake to form the company and prepare all the necessary documents on your own.
(Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, Prospectus).

7. Visit a Post Office in your locality, collect information about various types of services
provided by it (both financial and Mail Services). Also visit a Courier Service Agency and make
a comparative statement between these two. (Use appropriate diagrams and pictures)

8. Select a Multinational Corporation and prepared a detailed Report about it. (History,
Management, Branches, types of products, Milestones etc)
