Experiences and Activities:
1- I was one of 5 Egyptians who participated in the student culture exchange program summer
2010 and Through which I traveled to USA for 3 months in which I have been trained and
have a great experience in how to be :

a- responsible and to take the responsibility

b- communicate with other people from all over the world as “ Russia , Ukraine , china ,
Bulgaria , Colombia , Ecuador , USA ,…………. Etc “ And I learned a lot about their culture
and their traditions and that gave me a great experience in dealing with all the people
whatever their cultures and whatever their way of thinking

c- leadership skills
2- Soft skills courses as communications skills and how to express my ideas in an arranged
simple way and handling objections to convince other people with my ideas in a responsible way

3- Network marketing courses

4- Participated in the HIV workshop that was held in our college
 My candidature program:
1- Main goal
As one of the 10 representatives so my main job is to serve everyone in our year and to
collect all your ideas to improve our college and our way of learning and arrange and
formulate them with the help of the other 9 representatives in a well written form and let
you know the form and agree on it before we communicate with the professors, proxy or
the dean

2- Exams:
a. In the oral exam we can see that some students were asked lots of
questions and don’t get the full mark although the answer all of it and other
students were asked a few questions and get the full mark and that is not a
justice so I suggest to follow the way of histology department in the second
year in which we can draw a fixed number of questions from a bunch of
papers that contain many questions and every question has a known mark
that will help in decreasing the imagination of some examiners in asking the
students strange questions and also that will help in increasing the
percentage of equality between all students

b. Any reported cases of professors who prefer student over the others in the
oral exams must be looked at and punish him if it was proved that it’s a true
claim

c. The oral exam of a given subject to be after it’s written exam

d. The written exam must be put by a committee that we chose from the
professors that the curriculum in the lectures

3 - Books and way of teaching:

I wish to see our college a worldwide college as oxford or Cambridge universities we are not less than
those people and I think not only the first way but the only gate to fulfill this is to have a series of books
produced by the faculty of medicine “ kasr el Ainy “ Cairo university and to be as a reference for us and
this books is updated yearly so as to cope with everything new in the medical field and not to learn old
procedures and after we graduate we discover that we have wasted 7 years of our life learning nothing
and start to learn after graduation !!!!
4- students:
a- Students from their first day in the college must be trained on scientific research
method and presentation skills and critical way of thinking by having courses in this field
as all the future era is based on scientific research method
b- Provide the students with courses in communication skills as the medical field is based
on the good relation between the doctor and the patient and doctors must be trained
how to deal and communicate with all patients with their variety in their way of thinking
, socio-economic state and education level

c- Not to treat the medical students as young children but treat them by away fit them as a
future doctors and to respect our minds so as we can love our college and not to let the
role of it limited of being a place to study in but a place we care about and love like our
homes

5- administration:
a- The dean and the proxy must be by elections
b- The head of the departments must be by election too but he/she can’t be applied for
the election for more than 3 years so as to give a chance for the other efficient
professors to have the chance for this position in a way that fulfills equality between all
the professors in the department
