Design Ideas
For the design of my magazine I have come up with a few ideas in terms of titles, colour schemes andtaglines.
Titles
I have tried to think of title ideas for my
magazine that are associated with music
and would fit well into a music magazine.
CHORD
A chord is an aggregate of musical pitches
sounded simultaneously. I think this name
would work well as it is a common word
in music and anyone that ‘knows’ music
will recognise this name.
RAM
Ram is a commonly used word in music
terms and is also a English drum and bass
record label. I think this name would work
well as it is a recognised record label as
well as being short and sweet but also
memorable due to different meanings of
this word.
FRET
A fret is a raised portion on the neck of a
stringed instrument. I think this word
would work well as it is also a regonised
musical word and is also a pun for the
word ‘threat’ being a harsh word
reflecting the audience.
Colour Schemes Taglines
After investigating with different colours for The taglines I have thought of for my
my magazine I have come up with a few magazine are used as a slogan.

Just Love Music
I chose this tagline as it quite simple
1) and is a emphasis of what some people
think about music.
Live & Breath Music
This tagline shows music as more of a
lifestyle as it is aspired to be to some
people and makes the magazine to look
2) to be alike to these sorts of people.
Music is Love
This tagline is a sort of definition of
music in the term of a metaphor to
show the passion the magazine has for
music.
