Presentation Evaluation
My presentation was thoroughly enjoyable. I felt I was able to pitch the idea
professionally and clearly. It was received by Fiona as a good idea, and could
be seen as an industry presentation pitching to a real company.

I found it successful, and all major points that I wanted to highlight I

memorized and recalled several times within the presentation. Specifically, the
false document method I was to be using in the campaign I
showed to be significant comparing hugely to the big
success of The Blair Witch Project. I also highlighted the
success of the mainstream Saw franchise. I used my
research as ground for reliable justification and a
comparison to show my own idea would be a success.

One thing in my presentation I didn’t show to be a success in my campaign was

the sound and music that would be used. I was asked at the end of the
presentation by Fiona what I would use, I answered with my original idea that
would be Horror Slams and Screams. I could have done an individual slide that
specifically looked at sound however, in the trailer and compare to research
from the Saw trailer.

What I found to be good groundwork in my presentation was the research. I

used three tables of results from my questionnaire and I also used quotes from
the focus group. All the information came into reliable accounts that my idea
could be a success and supported it. The research supported my prime
audience and also the psychographics of these individuals.

My layout and format of the presentation gave the feel of the genre from the
colour red used. I presented it from a Horror background which is more
appropriate. My website reflected this, using black white and red, basic colours
using the redness as the form of Horror and the representation of the Horror
genre.
