Installation of Immigration Tracker 6.3.

29 (Tracker Classic) on a user’s PC

 Pre-requisites: Office 2007 with Access/Word. SQL Server ODBC Driver.

 Logged in as administrator (either as admin or as the user with admin rights):

1. Map out the user’s T drive to \\WINIMMNSPRD01\TrackerServer

2. Copy out the tracker6.2.39.5.exe from that drive to the desktop (works better this way).
3. Run the executable which has been dragged to the desktop.
4. Install the software:
a. Next to start
b. Any user who uses this computer (All Users)…Next
c. Custom Install….Next
d. Disable the Outlook Integration feature…Next.
e. Review the Configuration Summary…Install!
f. Finish!
5. Delete the executable from the desktop.
6. Log out if you are logged in as admin to set up the user for the application.
7. Log back in as the user if you are logged in as admin.
8. Create a shortcut to Tracker Classic from the Start menu.
9. Open Tracker Classic. Click on Additional Tools on the top menu, and select Open Connection
Form.
10. Use Windows Authentication, SQL Server Name: WINEBANSPRD04, Database Name:
TrackerData.
11. Click Connect. User should be able to log into Immigration Tracker.

 To disable the macro message that appears when you launch Tracker: Close out
Immigration Tracker, and add C:\Program Files\Tracker as a Trusted location inside
