How to Install Registration Software?

Download required registration Software from SP Folder listed above.

How to Access SP Folder?

I. Download required registration Software from SP Folder listed above.

II. Open chrome URL and type ServerIP/SP (i.e: 10.15.10.139/SP)

iii. Make a folder Bio Desk on Desktop and download software here.

iv. Extract all .Rar file and start installing software one to one.

 Installation of Registration Software.

1. Install Web Camera Drivers:

1.1. Install Web Camera Driver using the given path Web Camera Drivers\Driver\FOR
WINDOWS7\pro and double click on pro

1.2. Click On next Button

1.3. Click on Install Button.

1.4. Select No, I will restart my computer later and click on Finish Button.

2. Install MFS100ClientService:

2.1. Double click on application and press Next buttonto install it.

2.2. Click On Install Button.

2.3. Click on Finish button.

2.4. Click on Start Capture to check Mantra Device.

3. Install ChromeStandaloneSetup64.exe( Updated Chrome Version):

3.1. Before installing updated Chrome version, Uninstall old version of chrome for Client Node from
Control Panel using path: Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

3.2. After uninstalling old chrome Version , Insatll updated Chrome version.

 Replace & Cross Check Hosts File

1. Copy Hosts File.

2. Press WIN+ R ->Drivers and press ok.

3. Open etc folder.

4. Paste Copied hosts file here.

5. Click on Replace the file in the destination.

6. Click on Continue button.

7. Open hosts file in Notepad and cross check Server IP & Register system link (reg.cbtexam.in).

 Steps for Candidate’s Registration process is given below

1. Open Registration link in Google Chrome i.e. https://reg.cbtexam.in/registersystem .

2. Enter Login Details & select Device Mantra .

3. Click on Registration Button.

3.1 Enter Candidate’s Roll number and click Search Button to get candidate’s detail.

3.2 Allow Camera Access if Pop-Up appears.

3.3 Capture photo and Click on submit button.

3.4 Click on Capture Figure Print button to capture finger print of candidate.

3.5 Click on Confirm Button and repeat the same for other candidates.

 .Net Framework 3.5 Error
Mantra device required .net Framework 3.5 windows feature enabled but during this activity we face this
error in some machines there are few methods to resolve this error all steps are given below.

One of the reasons for the inability to enable the .NET Framework 3.5 Windows feature is the restriction
imposed by the Windows Update settings in the registry or through group policy.
Before enable .net framework 3.5 you have to dome some settings in Registry and group policy, let’s do it
one by one: -
Step1
Registry: -
1.Open Registry Editor by typing “regedit” to Run dialogue box (type run into Windows search bar and
choose it from the results list);
2.Click OK and then Yes in the User Account Control prompt;
3.When in Registry, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Policies > Microsoft > Windows
> WindowsUpdate > AU;
4.Double-click on UseWUServe, which is on the right pane of AU key. In the Value data box enter 0 and
click OK;
Close Registry Editor and try to install updates.
Restart the system.

Step2
Group policy: -
1.open gpedit.msc
2.Administrative templates>System
3. select "specify settings for optional component installation and component repair"
4. select "Enable" and tick "Download repair content and optional features...." and click on Apply and OK.
Step3
There are two processes to enable the .NET Framework: offline and online.
Offline Process: 1. Download "microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package" from link
"https://shorturl.at/tQUVZ" and paste the file in C Drive.
2.Open cmd as administrator.
3.Copy "Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:C:\sources\sxs" and paste it in cmd
and press enter.
4.Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool will enable the feature after it completes.

OR

Online Process: In the online process, the computer needs to be connected to the internet. Here are the
steps:
a. Open the Control Panel on your Windows computer.
b. Go to "Programs" or "Programs and Features" (depending on your Windows version).
c. Click on "Turn Windows features on or off." d. In the Windows Features dialog box, locate ".NET
Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)" and check the box. e. Click "OK" and wait for Windows to
download and install the necessary files from the internet.
Please note that administrative privileges may be required to perform these steps. Additionally, ensure that
you have a stable internet connection for the online process, or the installation media ready for the offline
process.
