After completing the accident reconstruction, interviewing witnesses and all three involved drivers, and receiving a copy of the NYS DOT bus inspection report, it was determined that human etror led to the accident. While attempting to stop for the bus picking up students, Poh’s foot slipped off the brake pedal and depressed the gas pedal. Pob's foot became stuck under the brake pedal and she was unable to stop the bus she was operating prior to striking the stopped school bus and the passenger vehicle. Poh has been issued traffic tickets for Speed not reasonable and prudent, Following too closely, and Passing a stopped school bus. She will answer all charges in Vietor Town Court at a later date.
