Polymethyl Methacrylate is a clear, colorless polymer used commonly for optical applications. This

substance is extremely scratch resistant, and has a high weatherability, which makes it great for eyewear.

It must be stored in closed, airtight containers in order for it to work properly for various engineering

purposes. This substance has a melting point of 320 degrees Fahrenheit, and a boiling point of 392

degrees Fahrenheit. Its maximum temperature is around 194 degrees Fahrenheit, and its minimum

temperature is around -76 degrees Fahrenheit. This substance is very stable, and doesn’t pose a large

environmental safety threat. It can, however, be threatening to a person’s health. If this substance is

inhaled, swallowed, or gets in your eyes, you must call a physician. If it comes into contact with your skin,

the best way to deal with it is to wash your skin off with a large amount of soap and water
