DIANNE
Dianne is the main character of the story. She moves in with her aunt and cousin after her father gets a
promotion. She is an upbeat, sensible character with many selfless and loving qualities, though sometimes
she can be a bit jealous and clueless, she is an overall good person. Dianne has long brown hair and very
bright green eyes.

TAZUYA
Dianne’s cousin. He’s somewhat intense and quiet, preferring to spend his time out and about than inside
the house. Dianne loves to tease him, which he mostly handles his revenge in a graceful, underhanded
way. Tazuya is also very lazy; his room is a mess and he never does chores around the house. Even
walking too long a distance irritates him. Tazuya has short, pale brown hair and dark brown eyes.

RAIDEN
A mysterious boy and the best friend of Tazuya. Raiden is good-natured and uncertain about his life. His
father is abusive, especially towards his mother. Tazuya is aware of all this, and often invites him to
spend many nights over his house. His and Dianne’s relationship develop quite quickly.

AZAMI
Dianne’s new best friend. Azami is very kind, sweet and motherly. She is sensible and petite, with a very
nice voice. Her father is the pastor to a local church, so her family is deeply Christian. Azami helps
Dianne with many things throughout her first year at Pharston High.

TSUKAIA
Tekara’s younger sister, a freshman like Dianne. Tsukaia is popular and possesses a very sour attitude.
She smokes, drinks and does drugs. She and her boyfriend are some of the main bullies of the high
school, and she is often terrorizing Dianne.

NORIAKI
Dianne’s father and the chief officer of the precinct

SABLE
Valian’s father. He and his wife are separated. He works as a police officer alongside Noriaki in Dianne’s
hometown.

TEKARA
A senior that meets Azami on their way to pick their little brothers up from the Daycare. It is revealed that
she is Tsukaia’s older sister, and is extremely protective of her delicate younger brother, Kiari, very much
in the same way Dianne dotes over Renn. She does not know of Tsukaia’s abusive tendencies towards
Kiari.
