empowering young peopl e to en gage in th e Visual Arts. Th e Pixel
Priz e presents an opportunity for studen ts to represen t ideas about
th e world th rou gh th e medium of ph otograph y. Th e competition
provides studen ts from years 7 to 12 with an opportu nity to :

Devel op th ei r kn owledge of ph otographic practice

Have th ei r work di splayed in a public gall ery,
Attend an awards night with industry professi onals and
Wi n $1,000 for overall first place.

Students’ ph otograph s will be ju dged by a n expert in terms of h ow

th ey address th e th eme of community spirit.

Sh ortlisted entri es will have th ei r work exhibited at ou r ACU gall ery

on campu s. Stu dents an d th ei r family will be invited to th e gallery
opening for th e annou ncement of th e winn ers.
