One of the main reasons I chose the degree in the University of Limerick was that I had the

opportunity to major in Human Resource Management.

I have always enjoyed working with people and dealing with the public as my work experience will
highlight. I am a strong communicator and I have good presentation skills. I have had to presents
numerous presentations at this stage in front of lecturers, colleagues and class mates. I also find
that I have the ability to listen to others. From a very early age I have enjoyed listening to others and
providing advice for others.

Programme and Project Management

I thrive when working in a team environment. I often find myself in a leadership position in the
group. I enjoy delegating tasks and I feel this stems from my ability to see where people strengths
lie and working on this. I never have a problem going to others when I have a problem and seeking
guidance from others who may be more experienced in a particular. I am a reliable hardworking
graduate and I feel confident that if given the opportunity I could prove this.

Programme Planning

I have always been a very organised person, even from a very early age. Right down to
studying for my final year exam I am very organised. I make out timetables, list exactly what
I have to do and make out a time line. I feel extremely capable when keeping to targets and
managing my time correctly. I would choose programme planning as I feel that I would have
the necessary skills to complete tasks in this area.
