Stage 3 – Learning Plan

Learning Activities:

W = Previous lesson should be about “shading” – what gives the drawing a form (3-D). Introduce this
lesson as the follow up on creating an “illusion” of 3-D on a flat (2-D) surface.
H = Presents pictures that show different linear perspectives… get some pictures from the school site.
E = Each of the linear perspectives will be “demonstrated” and students will have to “recreate” them.
R = The project will be given where students have to create an original drawing using the linear
perspectives.
E = Informal discussions and “help” are given throughout the project, and a self-evaluation needs to be
turned in with the project.
T = Students have pretty good flexibility in creating their own work as long as the main goal is being met.
O = Some samples as well as the students’ own works will be displayed – sometimes an informal small-
group discussion is engaged.
