RE: INFORMATION AND INVITATION

Buddha was borned in Lumbini Garden in Northern India over twenty-five hundred years ago. Buddha's
birth was so important to all living beings that in the moment many good omens appeared, including
heavenly music and divine water falling down from the sky to serve Buddha. Then, fragrant-water bath
has been served for Buddha statues in commemoration of his birthday every year. It is the origin of
festival of Buddha bathing in the Northern Buddhism Nations. Buddha bathing is a symbol of washing
out our Karma Defilements of deeds, words and thoughts. So this is a ceremony with surpassing merits
and meanings.

Veneration of Buddha and Arahat’s Relics

A vegetarian lunch will be served on Buddha bathing's ceremony (17 April 2011)

釋迦佛寶誕 浴佛節法會
各位護法居士、善信大德：

本寺定於農曆三月十五日、星期日(17 April 2011, Sunday) 早上九點時、提早慶祝釋迦佛寶誕浴佛節

法會、禮念大乘經典、如來諸品神咒，上供十方諸佛菩薩、萬德千尊、敬請十方有緣、
踴躍參加，共沾法雨。

法會設有： 佛陀及羅漢舍利展覽、平安光明燈、隨緣供齋， 香花供品。

敬請護法居士、善信大德、護持三寶、隨喜報名參加，廣結佛緣，以此功德虔誠祝禱世界和平、
風調雨順、國泰民安、十方檀信皈依眾等、闔家眷屬，福慧圓融、菩提自在、吉祥安樂。

敬誠灌浴諸如來、淨智莊嚴功德海、
五濁眾生離塵垢、同證如來淨法身。
