OBJECTIVE

At the end of this workshop you would have:

 Created an account with Blogger.com

 Created a blog
 Post some content on your blog
 Share a YouTube Video on your blog

WHAT IS BLOGGER.COM?

Blogger.com is a popular blogging engine that allows you to:

 Post contents online without knowing HTML

 Share the content online
 Include any form of media In your blog post

CREATING A BLOGGER ACCOUNT

1. Go to http://www.blogger.com
2. Sign up an account.

3. Provide a valid email address together with other details

4. Accept the ‘Terms & Conditions’ and click ‘Continue’

5. Provide a title & link for your blog.

6. Choose a template of your liking

7. After
choosing the template, you can navigate to the URL of your blog and check to see
whether it is working.
8. Write the URL of your blog below.

ACTIVITY ONE: WRITE YOUR FIRST POST

Write& publish your first post describing yourself and what your blog is all about.

Write the link of your first post in the box below.

ACTIVITY TWO: INCLUDING

A YOUTUBE VIDEO

1. Navigate to the
YouTube Video you
want to embed.

2. Copy the link provided at

the right hand side of the
YouTube Page.

3. Paste the link into your blog post to embed the YouTube video into your blog.

4. Write down the URL of your blog post in the box below.
