The Playful Penguin

 Habitat

Penguins live in Antarctica. They

spend winter on ice shelves.
In summer penguins dive into the
water and fish. Different penguins
live in different places. Like some
live in New Zealand, Australia,
South Africa, South America and
the Galapagos Islands.
 Diet

Penguins mostly eat krill, squid

and fish. The adult penguin feeds
their chicks by throwing up into
the chicks beak.
 Predators

The penguins predators are

leopard seals, killer whales and
sharks.
 Body Traits

A penguin is white in the front and

black in the back. They have red
eyes. Penguins are 2.5 feet tall.
They are 11 pounds. Penguins
can swim underwater for several
yards.
 Global Warming

Global warming is killing

penguins. It melts the ice and then
they cant lay eggs or sleep. SAVE
