GUEST LECTURE ON

“INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS”

Sir,

Motilal Nehru Institute of Reaserch and Business Administration (MONIRBA) has organised a
guest lecture on “International Business” on Saturday in MONIRBA campus. Lecture was
given by Mr. Sumit Das, General Manager(G.M.) of “Gujrat Fluoro Chemicals Limited”. A
multinational company which has the presence all across the world. Mr. Sumit Das is also an
aluminous of Monirba and great intellectual and have a dynamic personality and have
experience of various countries.

Lecture was started by welcome speech by Dr. Ajay Kumar Singhal, Training and Placement
incharge MONIRBA, after that he handed over to Mr. Sumit Das. Mr Das has shared his
experience on International Business. He told students about the global business
environment prevailing in the market.

He told the students about benefits and drawbacks of operating business in domestic and
international market. He explained business models of companies like Wall-Mart, Emirates,
Qatar Airlines etc. He explained various things which should be kept in mind when one has
to expand his business in international market.

At the end Mr. Das also cleared doubts of students about their career. He also elaborated
that how we can develop our personality and how to be different in this competitive
environment.
