Create Hyperlink to Pictures and Documents in ArcMap

1. First select the feature you would like to hyperlink from with the Identify tool.

2. Right-click on a feature's name in the left pane of the Identify Results dialog box, then click Add Hyperlink.

3. Click Link to a Document or Link to a URL.

4. Click the Browse button to select a document or type a URL.

5. Click OK.

6. The feature should now have a hyperlink to your document.

7. In order to view the hyperlinked features you need to have the hyperlink tool selected.

8. Once the hyperlink tool is selected, features that are hyperlinked will show up with a blue outline. This indicates that they are clickable with the hyperlink tool. You can click on a feature and the hyperlinked document will pop up.

9. This process supports multiple hyperlinks, just repeat the process and point to a new document. 10. The only difference when linking multiple documents to a single feature is when you select the feature with the hyperlink tool. Instead of immediately popping up the linked document, a dialog box appears and asks which document you would like to view. Just select the document and press Jump.
