It was good to see so many parents, friends and carers at the Sports day on Tuesday. Luckily the weather held out until the Juniors had practically finished!. An infant child said I absolutely loved it and the juniors thought It was all good!!. A big thank you to Mr Minnott for his hard work in organising a lovely day!! A lady from the Bromley Road Safety unit came on Monday to talk to children in Paul McCartney and Paul Weller classes about road safety. Vanessa Williams from Bromley libraries came to the school assembly on Monday to promote and talk to the children about summer reading activities at the library. James Dixon steel band will be performing at Heavers Farm on Saturday 5th July. They also performed at Green Street Green Primary and Croydon Conservative Club last week. Nursery class, The Beatles travelled by coach on Friday to Hortons Farm on The weather was lovely and all the children had a lovely day. One boy said the best bit was the ducks! Thursday.

Year 6 children travelled by coach on Friday to Kingswood Activity centre in Surrey for their residential school journey. They will be taking part in many exciting activities and we will let you know more next week. Reminder the school Summer Fair is next FRIDAY 8TH JULY at 2.30pm. There will be many exciting stalls and activities for the family. Please keep bringing in bottles, toiletries, bric a brac etc and a big THANK YOU for everything you have contributed so far!! ACHIEVEMENT In Ella Fitzgerald class, Samantha, Sahir and Michael for good numeracy . Paige and Beraca in Louis Armstrong class for good writing, Serena in Stevie Wonder class for improving her reading, Louis Matthews in Paul McCartney class for good homework. Alex in Kirk Franklin for making friends and improving at phonics, Drew and Debarge in Bob Marley class for good drama and behaviour.

ABSENCE AND ATTENDANCE If your child cannot attend school for any reason please make sure that you contact the school office on the first day of absence. Holidays should not be taken in school term time and cannot be authorised.
