    We need your help for the Summer Point in Time Count!

    What? The Lancaster County Coalition to End Homelessness (LCCEH) is conducting a Summer Point in Time (PIT) Count on August 16th, 2011. The PIT is a count of people experiencing homelessness in our community. Why? This count will give us a more complete picture of homelessness in Lancaster County; and it ultimately helps us assess our programs and services as we work toward ending homelessness in Lancaster County. How? There are two ways you could help:

    1. Location information: If you know of any place that people in Lancaster County may reside that
    is not meant for human habitation not on the attached list, please email us the location information.

    2. Volunteer: Participate in the count interviews on August 16th, 2011. This would involve going
    with a team to assigned sites and conducting surveys of people who could be living in unsheltered locations. Shifts are as follows: a. b. c. d. 5:30-8:30 am (most volunteers needed) 8:00am-12:00 noon 12-3:00 pm 4:00-7:00 pm

    If you can participate, please email Laura Gochnauer at lgochnauer@co.lancaster.pa.us by July 29th with your availability for that day. Volunteer training sessions will be held on the following dates; if you cannot attend, other training arrangements can be made. August 2, 9:00-10:30, 630 Janet Ave, Lancaster, PA in the Blair Room August 9: 9:00-10:30, 630 Janet Ave, Lancaster, PA in A-101
