    **A Harvard GSAS Organization Dear Science Teacher, We would like to o cially introduce you to e Journal of Emerging Investigators

    s (JEI). JEI is a new, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes research performed by middle school and high school students. Our goal is to provide young scientists with the opportunity to submit the exciting science research that they are already doing in the classroom and/or science fair, and have it published in a professional journal. JEI is a wonderful way to introduce students to the process of research and science writing. To provide you with more information, we would like to invite you to our summer Open House on ursday, August 11, 5-6:30PM. Come nd out more about our organization and meet our team of editors, as well as fellow science teachers from local schools! Well talk about the publication process and our guidelines for submission. Hors doeuvres and refreshments will be served. e event will hosted in Tosteson Medical Education Center (TMEC) Room 250, located on the Harvard Medical School quadrangle (200 Longwood Avenue Boston, MA, see map below).
