Dear Kezia Further to your Parliamentary Question S4W-00857 regarding which funding streams are available to community groups to support (a) single and (b) multi-sport facilities, the Minister for Commonwealth Games and Sport has asked me to respond to you with further detail. The funding streams available to community groups include: Sports Facilities Fund - investment in capital projects over 10,000. Awards for All - revenue and capital awards of up to 10,000. These awards are drawn from lottery funds and the programme is managed by Big Lottery on behalf of sportscotland. sportsmatch - supports grassroots sport projects by matching sponsorship investment from 500, up to a value of 10,000.

sportscotland provides assistance to groups seeking investment and further information and eligibility criteria can be found on our website: http://www.sportscotland.org. uk/Chan nel NavigationlT opicslT opicN avigatiori/F und ing/ sportscotland staff can also be contacted directly to discuss investment opportunities, www.helpforclubs.org.uk provides support and assistance for clubs at all levels. and

All of the funding streams are open to single and multi-sport facilities, meaning that changing from single to multi-sport facilities does not 'broaden' eligibility for funding. Please contact either myself or our Public Affairs Manager Alan Miller if we can be of any further assistance. His contact details are: 0141 534 6562. Yours sincerely
