1. Introduction - may include history and definitions 2. Significance - importance of the survey - purpose of the survey 3. General Methodology - describe the concepts behind the type of survey. - you may include mathematical concepts but I do not require you to include and discuss the governing equations. Plus points however shall be given to those who do. - usual problems encountered may also be included. 4. Application - provide some examples and/or stories of its use in the following: pre1800s, 1800s to 1900s, Present Day. (Ex. As-built survey was used by Moses when they were building the pyramids). If your survey of choice was developed in the 1900s, for example, you can include the events/scientific advances leading to the development of the survey in place of the pre-1800s part. - include instruments used in the survey (ancient/modern) - include future technologies that have applications in your survey of choice. (Ex. quantum information teleportation) 5. Summary and Conclusion - you may put some of your discussions and recommendations here. 6. References - use the APA bibliography format - wikipedia is not an allowed reference. 7. Appendix - this section is optional.
