    1. What do we understand by atomizing when we talk about injectors? That not solid beam of fuel shall be present. 2. How do we recognize a leaking fuel injector during testing? If we have a sudden drop of pressure after the valve is supposed to be closed, this is caused by a leak. 3. Why must we never use grinding paste on the seating or on the gliding surface of a needle? Any remaining grinding paste will corrode on the metal surface and after some time the needle will be damaged.

    4. Which main unit determines the increasing/decreasing of the fuel quantity, i.e. controls the effective delivery stroke? The governor. 5. What do we mean with edge of cut off when talk about pumps with turnable plunger? The edge on the plunger which opens for the return line. 6. What do we mean with dual controlled fuel pump when we talk about valve controlled fuel pump? Both the suction and spill valves are controlled.

    7. What do we mean by viscosity? It can be termed as a resistance to flow. 8. What principle of measurement is the viscosity controller based on? Measurement of differential pressure.
