Slash Damage Blow Damage Pierce Damage Fire Ice Thunder God
--Blade Type
Short Blade (SB) Short range, Very fast attack speed, long combo, Step and Jump Cancel ability (X or O during ground attack), mostly focused on Slash and/or Pierce damage. Has fastest OP regeneration rate due to its long combo. SB User can run very fast using slash ([]) then forward step cancel (O) and repeat (it takes a lot of stamina) Medium range, medium attack speed, Edge Impulse Special Attack (flamethrower, R+[], it consume both OP and ST), mostly focused on Slash damage
Bastard Blade (BB) Long range, Slow attack speed, Charge Crash Special Attack (Hold []) , Shield Cancel ability (R+O during ground attack), mostly focused on Slash and/or Blow damage. Has lowest OP regeneration rate compared to others, but still gain fairly due its big OP gain per hit.

--Gunbarrel Type
Sniper (SN) Mostly focused on pierce damage. Reduce OP cost of Laser type by bullet 25%
Assault (AS) Mostly balanced on both, tend to have lower damage than others, but tend to come with better abilities than others. Reduce OP cost of Normal Bullet type bullet by 25%. Assault has fastest fire rate than the others Blaster (BL) Mostly focused on blow damage, tend to have higher elemental multiplier than others, but sometime it have harmful abilities. Reduce OP cost of Grenade / Flamethrower type by bullet 25%. Blaster has lowest fire rate than the others
--Predator Mode
You can activate Predator Mode by hold /\ in Blade form. Main use predator mode is to absorbs Aragami power while target Aragami is alive (thus giving you about 30s of Burst mode and random Aragami bullet. OR carving items from Aragami corpse. Predator Mode also damages enemy. Note: If you hit two or more Aragami in single Predator mode, you can get items from all of them (if the Aragamis are died) but only one Aragami Bullet (if the Aragamis is still alive)

bigger and more powerful. Burst-Link Aragami bullet is linked to your Burst-link Mode, so if you shot it, your Burst-link will be ended, at the otherhand, if your Burst-link is run out before you shot your Burst-Link Aragami bullet, you also lose your Burst-Link Aragami bullet.

Bastard Blade s have bigger damage multiplier and has biggest raw damage of all, so GS tends to do more damage than other Blade. This is true for most minions (Ougatail, Zaigott, etc), but this isnt true for many bosses because boss monsters tends to have bigger defense against Blow Damage than other kind of damage.

Tips n Tricks
-- If theres no story quest available, you need to enter certain room or talk to certain person to trigger next story quest. To be safe, enter all rooms available, talk to all people, and open all terminals in all rooms. -- Did you know that homing bullets tends to redirect itself to aragamis weak point? -- Did you know that if two or more bullets same hitzone at the same time, their damage is reduced? I tested it on rank 1 st Cocoonmaiden using custom made bullet and rank 1 rifle. 1 bullet hit 6 times at same time (1 SS normal , 3 M short nd range laser and 2 S short range laser) and 2 bullet hit 5 times at interval (1 SS normal, 2 M short range laser, and 2 S st short range laser <- I changed 1 M short range laser into sticky sphere). 1 bullet need 7 shots to kill a rank 1 nd Cocoonmaiden and 2 bullet need 5 shots to kill a rank 1 Cocoonmaiden -- Did you know that you can cut Predator mode and Charge Crash charging time by releasing it about 0.4s before fully charged? -- Did you know that at the end of your combo or after charge crash, you can cut some character animation using Guard cancel, dodge cancel, or jump cancel? -- Did you know that you can run very quickly using Short Blade by slashing ([]) then cancel using forward dash cancel (O), and repeat? It consume a lot of stamina though -- Did you know that during half-end of rank 5 mission, Sakaki (the professor with glasses) will ask you to bring him some items to make a dress for Chiot. He will request these items: (beast god thunder mane) from Vajra selling price 500fc. (monkey god big tail) from Kongo selling price 380fc. (goddess wing) from Sariel selling price 500fc. (knight needle) from Kamran Borg selling price 500fc (war king great armor) from Quadriga selling price 500fc You can also get those items as a reward from some rank 4 free missions. -- Did you know that you must do mission solo to get SSS+ rank? If you do mission in party, you will only get SSS at best. -- Did you know that general store in God Eater is VERY-customer-friendly?
