ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY THE SANGHA

TRAINING IN TAILORING BY A VERY WELL EXPERIENCED TRAINER.

The Sangha imparts training in tailoring so that the women are empowered with

financial independence. The training which has been imparted earlier has proved to be largely beneficial to the women who have undertaken it. The training is given by a person with relevant experience and hands on practice are encouraged. We have a good number of sewing machines facilitating more practical oriented learning.

CHARITABLE MEDICAL TREATMENT FACILITY The Sangha has dedicated and experienced doctors who are available

24 HOUR AMBULENCE SERVICE The Sangha has its own ambulance and it is available 24 hours. This service may be availed at nominal charges.

ACCOMODATION FOR POOR OUTSTATION PATIENTS The Sangha extends a helping hand to poor people who come to Bangalore for medical treatment by letting them stay at the ashram premises for a very nominal donation. TEMPORARY ACCOMODATION FOR OUTSTATION JOB SEARCHERS (males only) Every Year many candidates come from different parts of the country to find a job in Bangalore and move toward a bright future. The Sangha helps the needy to stay in Bangalore and look for a job. BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS Information technology has pervaded this age and it is very important that this technology reaches out to the masses. The sangha realizes that and hence have undertaken a mission to take this technology to the masses. COACHING CENTRE FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN Many poor children cannot afford private tutors to help them after school.Due to high competition they miss out in their academic development.The sangha reaches out to them.

YOGA MEDITATION Yoga classes are held twice everyday at the ashram. PROJECT KARUNALAYA:A HOME FOR POOR OR ORPHAN CHILDREN This is a project to help poor and orphan children.At present the ashram hosts four children.
