Redevelopment proposals

One Nine Elms

On behalf the owners and developers of One Nine Elms, welcome to our first newsletter on the redevelopment of the Market Towers site in Vauxhall. Please come to our public exhibition on Thursday 15th and Saturday 17th September where proposals to redevelop the site will be on display. The site is currently occupied by a 22 storey office tower built in the 1970s. The office building has become outdated and there is an opportunity to create an iconic new building of the highest architectural quality. The proposal would contribute to the ongoing regeneration of Vauxhall and Nine Elms providing a gateway to the proposed Nine Elms linear park through high quality public spaces. The Vauxhall area is changing with St George Tower underway and several planning applications coming forward. We believe our proposals will deliver on the ambitious aim of creating an urban oasis at the heart of Vauxhall, delivering new homes, jobs and local amenities such as cafs, restaurants and shops as well as exciting new cultural and community spaces.

Timescales It is our intention to submit a planning application to the London Borough of Wandsworth later this year and we welcome the views of local residents in advance of submitting our proposals to ensure that our application responds to local issues and needs.
