Henry the 8th

Catherine of Aragon was the first of Henrys 6 wives. She was Queen of England from 1509 until 1533 when Henry divorced her to marry Anne Boleyn. Anne Boleyn was the second wife. She was Queen of England from 1533 until 1536. She was one of the first non-royal women to become Queen of England which caused quite a stir in those times. She was also the mother of Elizabeth 1st,one of the greatest monarchs in the history of England and of the World itself. Jane is remembered for being kind and a good stepmother to Henrys eldest daughter Mary. Anne of Cleves was the fourth of Henry the 8th wives, she was a member of the German royal house of Cleves and married Henry for political reasons. Katherine Howard as the fifth wife of Henry. Her story is tragic. She was queen for only 3 months before her life ended at a very early age. Katherine Parr was the sixth and final wife of King Henry 8th. She was queen of England until Henrys death in early 1547.
