General Expectations Respect yourself, respect others and respect the school Students are responsible for arriving to class on time and prepared to work. This mean having all materials needed to complete assignments. No iPods, MP3 players or other electronic devices in the classroom Daily Grades (participation) Based on time on task, attitude Completion of assignment/task for that day 0-10 points 10 on task, working entire class period, assignments completed 7-9 points on task, some chatting, assignments completed 5-6 points not working, but not disruptive 1-4 points not working, disruptive other students unable to work, sleeping 0 points unexcused absences, removal from class Assignment Grades Assignments should be turned in daily to receive grade Assignments can be corrected to receive more points must be done within two days of getting the assignment back rom the teacher If all assignments are completed, student should be reading or working on other homework Weekly Grade Average of daily grades and assignments completed Posted to Family Access Letter grades follow school grading policy shown below A B C D F 100 - 93 92 - 85 84 - 77 76 - 68 67 - 0
