Science with the second graders! Investigating water!

WE BEGIN AR THIS WEEK!

The red section of the OK Notebook is for AR (Accelerated Reader). The 1st goal is to have a 85% average on all the quizzes and have 2 points by Friday, October 14th. When you meet your goal you will have your picture on the AR board in the elementary hall way and participate in an all school special event. When you are ready to take a test ll out one of the form in the red section of the OK Notebook.

What happens when you blow air into the water?

Whats Happening This Week...

Jesus Time ... We will talk about Moses and the Children of Israel and how God helped them cross the Red Sea. We will also see how God provided them with food in the wilderness. Language Arts ... We will coontinue our work with the alphabet; working with the short vowel sound i, beginning our station work , read Pig in a Wig, and talk about the subject of a sentence. Math ... We will look at combinations of numbers that make the sums of 6, 7, 8 and 9. We will also work with addition sentences. Science ... We will continue our unit on water School Pictures on Tuesday!
