SPEECHFEST 2011
Last February 17, 2011, the College of Art and Sciences Department conducted a Speech fest held in the Center of Performing Arts. There were many participants in the said event in different category such as ration, Declamation and Extemporaneous. It was so interesting activity because it helped the students to be involved in this kind of event in order for then to more expose in communicating skills towards other people. In some aspects, communicating skills was being developed on how your reading skills have being level up. Each one of us has different habit on how we learned to speak well. The things that we should considered in here was to convert our self into a good reader and speaker because it helped us to be a good man and woman in the future. Although it takes time to us to be a good speaker, there should be practice to be undertaken. As what had been observed in the contest, my co- Josenian students were very glad to listen to every contestant in deliberating their speech. I am happy that I saw the Speech fest because it can help to practice my communicating skills especially that I am a marketing students who involved in facing people. From now on, I will practice on how I will become a good student in facing some problems in speaking English. I want that all the things that I saw from the Speech fest will be preserve from my heart and in my mind. .Speech fest was a best activity that I love most and never be vanished.
