Schedule 5:45pm 6:00-7:00pm Ribbon cutting ceremony and unveiling of our Music and Movement Bus our third Learning Activity Bus (Arts LAB). Event Opens -Opportunity Prizes: Items donated from organizations in the Fullerton Community will be won by guests. -Buffet: Food will be provided by local restaurant Brownstone Cafe accompanied by music and wine. -Favors: Brown craft bags designed by students will be given to all guests who make purchases and all attendees will receive an event catalogue. 7:00pm 7:15pm Drum Circle will introduce the live auction. Live Auction begins- Bidding begins on specialty art pieces by renowned artists from across North America. Also included in the live auction are vacation packages and elegant dinners. All proceeds go to funding art education through All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation. Silent Auction: Unique artwork and exciting gift baskets will be bid on throughout the event. The artwork will feature a variety of artists and exceptional pieces will be delineated by a panel of jurors.

ALL THE ARTS FOR ALL THE KIDS FOUNDATION: All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation is celebrating its 15th Annual Art Auction on October 18, 2008 at 6pm. This gala event will be held in the heart of downtown Fullerton at the Downtown Fullerton Plaza. This Pins, Pots, and Possibilities auction will feature artwork from prominent artists from all across North America. These world-renowned pieces will be auctioned off in hopes of continuing to provide every Fullerton School District student with a comprehensive art education through the All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation. All the Arts for All the Kids transforms childrens lives. This program accelerates problem solving skills, provides the motivation to learn, and builds a foundation of critical thinking skills that has been proven to last a lifetime. All the Arts for All the Kids accomplishes this by providing Fullerton school district kids K-6 with a comprehensive education in theater, dance, music, and visual arts. This heart-felt event is a great way to be connected with our organization, one that is respected locally, and that is pulling the resources of the Fullerton Community to benefit our children.

All the Arts for all the Kids Foundation provides 6 art lessons in each discipline: theatre, dance, music, and visual arts to all our students. The program provides over 10,000 art lessons a year! All the Arts Foundation serves 13,500 students in the Fullerton School District. All the Arts for all the Kids Foundation has two Arts Learning Activities Busses (Arts LABS) on the streets and is rolling out a third, serving over 4,000 students yearly. All the Arts has raised over 1.2 million dollars for arts education. Named Art Orange Countys Outstanding Volunteer Support Group. All The Arts has strong community support and 15 years of community involvement. Our Arts LAB received the 2007 Golden Bell Award for outstanding visual and performing arts program. Our grass roots organization thrives on the support of community and business leaders, parents and volunteers. Thanks to our volunteers all donations go directly to funding students art education. We reach 400 classrooms in our 17 elementary schools

Q: Who is All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation and what are their goals? A: The All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to developing, sustaining, and supporting the arts as an intrinsic part of every childs education in the Fullerton community. This grass roots community effort is staffed solely by volunteers, so that all proceeds go directly to the children in every school in the District. Q: Why are we undertaking this campaign? A: It is this organizations passionate belief that the arts are the birthright of every child, and our foundation champions the arts in the Fullerton School District. Studies demonstrate that participating in arts programs can help children read and write better, be more focused in class, raise test scores, develop higher self- esteem, and solve problems more creatively. Q: What are we doing to meet our goals that focus on supporting the arts as an intrinsic part of every childs education in the Fullerton community? A: We enthusiastically raise funds, which are used exclusively to supplement the Districts ongoing arts programs. We fund art lessons- Each year, the Foundation, in partnership with the Fullerton School District, provides funding for nearly 10,000 lessons in art, music, dance and theater. These lessons reach all children at the seventeen elementary schools and are conducted by professional artists. We fund the Arts Learning Activities Bus (Arts LAB)- We have transformed a surplus school bus into a mobile, digital arts studio. Students across the District are guided by skilled artist/teachers to make short movies about what they are learning in their classrooms. We fund teacher grants- Every year teachers are awarded grants from the Foundation so they can add the magic of the arts to academic lessons. The grants have funded kid-created murals, pageants, choruses, plays, puppeteer troupes, and much more. We provide musical instruments for kids- The Foundation has established an inventory of musical instruments that are made available, without cost, to the budding young musicians who yearn to make music.
