The Albany County Sheriffs Office reports the arrest of a Montana subject after she was found with a loaded handgun at the Albany International Airport. The complaint alleges that Loretta Quayle, age 54, of Bozeman Montana, had a loaded .380 caliber semi automatic handgun located in the side of a hard shell leather purse. The weapon was loaded when discovered, by security staff at the Airport checkpoint. Quayle was in the area visiting family for approximately one week and was scheduled to fly back to Montana on Monday September 26th. Quayle was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, an A Misdemeanor. Quayle was arraigned in the Town of Colonie Justice Court by the Honorable Andrew Sommers and released on her own recognizance.
