The Albany County Sheriffs Office reports the arrest of a Schenectady woman for driving while intoxicated on Sunday evening with her three young children in the car. An Albany County Deputy Sheriff observed Christine Stanley cross a double yellow line and failure to dim her high beams while on Berne Altamont Road in the Town of Knox. A motor vehicle stop was performed and it was determined that Christine Stanley was driving while intoxicated with her one year old, five year old, and ten year old in the car. Stanley, age 31, was charged under New York States Leandras Law with a Felony count of Driving While Intoxicated as well as three Misdemeanor counts of Child Endangerment. Stanley was arraigned in front of the Honorable Judge Gagnon and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility with $500.00 cash or $5,000.00 bond. Stanley is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday September 05, 2012 at 6:00pm. All three children were turned over to a family member.
