Starting Date: September 27 Meeting Days: Tuesday, rm 225 Brief Summary: Welcome to ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB! ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB will meet on Tuesdays immediately after school and last until 3:15. ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB is scheduled to begin Tuesday September 27 , listen for announcements for when the club is meeting ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB is responsible for helping recycling paper at the school Every time we fill the yellow and green recycle bin outside the school, the school gets money. We also help to educate the community about energy and the environment. The club meets every Tuesday for recycling and will have 3 main events throughout the year. Students can earn community service for NJHS. Main Events: Harvest Your Energy Festival Saturday October 1, 1-4pm (by the wind turbine) Recycle-Bowl October 17-November 12 (in school) Energy Carnival April 11 (in school) Return permission slips, signed by parent or guardian, to Mr. Fenwick in room 225 by September 27. You can get a permission slip from Ms. Fenwick if you need one.
