Sea's Requiem

Gaze horizontally, Out to the great yonder, See a hand beckoning me, Maybe something I must see. Get to the shoreline crying, Observe the tranquil movement, Ebbing of the tides, Cleanses the outside,

Slowly seeping from the world we sleep in, Once we're gone there'll be no repeating.

Promises to dissolve, Sordid acts and sins, To my chest they're pinned, I'm diving head first in, Liquid pulls me under, Don't fight, just surrender, Fluid filling up the lungs, God play my requiem.

Slowly seeping, from the world we sleep in, Once we're gone there'll be no repeating.

Bright light shines so highly, Was this end untimely, Wonder what's behind the glare, Feeling unprepared, Can no longer one-eighty, Gave up on human frailties, No longer feel forlorn, Heart has been reborn.
