Application for Students Council President

As a student in Dubai Modern Education School, you have the right to choose the person who
would speak for you. In October, you will be able to vote for whom you wish to be the President of the
Students Council. The President will represent you, and help provide a better experience in DMES
through various projects and activities. Choose wisely.
But, if you consider yourself responsible enough with acquired leadership qualities, you can go
ahead and become a candidate in the election. As a candidate, you have to promote yourself through
advertisement charts, campaigns, etc. In order to become one, though, you must meet all the
requirements shown down below. If you are eligible, you can start applying by filling the registration
form afterwards.

Requirements to qualify for the Students Council President position

a. Academic qualifications: Minimum of 70% total score.

b. Conduct: Each candidate must have a good attitude, conduct, behavior, and reputation.

Expectations

1. Decent language accuracy: The President should be able to speak in English well (or Arabic in case
he/she is a governmental section student). He/she must have fluency to articulate points easily to
understand.
2. Leadership experience: Candidates should have experience in leadership and skills.
3. Attendance: Absence from school without a proper excuse is prohibited, so all applicants must have
reasonable attendance records.
