academic and cultural exchange program in the United States for Algerian and American youth aged 15-
17. The selected students will be in a challenging academic environment and will receive intensive
leadership training. To succeed, the participants must be highly motivated and be able to adjust to living
and working with people of different social and cultural backgrounds. We value your honest assessment

How long, and in what context, have you known this applicant?

I am a teacher of English, I have taught the student Rayane Sofiane Meghni for 4 years, in secondary
school.

What are the applicant’s strengths?

Meghni is an excellent student in English, he's obedient, he also gets full marks in exams and has a
personal motive to learn English, develop his language and speaks smoothly with others, other than that
he is a little shy when he speaks in a group.

What are the academic or personal areas in which this applicant needs more development?

Him being somewhat shy will reduce his communicative abilities, so he only needs support, but he does
what he can to develop his language and personality and adapt to them.

Why do you believe that the applicant will be a successful participant in the Algerian Youth Leadership
Program?

he believes in himself and his abilities, he'll be successful since losing is not an option for him, he will put
all efforts needed to be someone that everyone should be proud of.

Yes.he is confident in himself and wants to develop himself and his personality as a role model for his
