    Note: Up to 7 days of paid sick leave are granted each year if a medical certificate is submitted. Any sick leave without a medical certificate/written approval from the reporting head is counted as annual leave. If an employee comes to work and leaves before 1:00pm the same day (or comes to work after 1:00pm the same day) because of illness, half a day will be considered as medical leave if a medical certificate/written approval from the reporting head is produced, or vacation leave if there is no medical certificate.
