The world owes me a living = Im here, so someone should take care of me.

The Grasshopper and the Ants (nouns and verbs) 1. It was summer, so the grasshopper was singing, dancing, and playing the violin. 2. The grasshopper was chewing tobacco and spitting out the juice. 3. The grasshopper was happy, so he was jumping up and down. 4. His song was The World Owes Me a Living. 5. While the grasshopper was singing, the ants were working hard. 6. The grasshopper sat on a mushroom and began to eat the leaves from the trees.

7. Some of the ants were cutting carrots into pieces. 8. A young ant was pulling a wagon with three apples in it. 9. The Queen was holding a scepter. 10. The Queen talked seriously to the grasshopper. 11. The Queen told the grasshopper he should gather food for the winter, but he ignored her. 12. In the fall, the leaves were falling from the trees. 13. In the winter, the flowers died. 14. In the winter, the doors and windows of the ants nest were closed and covered with snow.

15. There were long tables of food in the ants nest. 16. The ants were eating different kinds of food and drinking their favorite juice. 17. The ants put a blanket on the grasshopper and fed him some soup. 18. At the end of the cartoon, the grasshopper was still a little sick. He sneezed loudly.
