Individual topics were assigned to students in sixth grade for the Webquests. This important project is part of the sixth grade curriculum; it covers Ancient Civilizations (social studies); Technology (PowerPoint presentation); English (oral presentation and research); and Spanish (culture). Classroom teachers, the technology teacher, and myself are involved. Teachers will randomly evaluate students after the due date. Rubrics and instructions are in the Webquest and were already explained to students. They should be working already at home doing research.

Wiki
The first trimester of sixth grade is dedicated to descriptions, uses of the verb to be, and adjective agreements. For an extensive practice, students will write compositions and make videos in Spanish and post them on the Wiki. Each student has been assigned an animal. They have to describe the animal using all of the vocabulary learned in the chapters covered. They have already started in class; but the students are more than welcome to work at home too.
