Parts of a Paragraph

A.  Label each of the sentences below with topic, support, or conclusion. 
Remember, in a paragraph there is only one topic and one conclusion 
sentence, but more than one support sentence.

B.  Now decide what order the sentences should go in and put a number after 
each sentence.

C.  Write the sentences in the correct order.  Use transitions (first, second, 
etc.) to connect the support sentences.
