INTRODUCTION

In the existing system, most oI the records are
maintained on paper. It becomes very inconvenient to
modiIy the data. In the existing system, here is a
possibility that the same data in diIIerent registers
may have diIIerent values which means the entries oI
the same data do not match. This inconsistent state
does not supply the concrete inIormation which poses
a problem in the case inIormation related to particular
search record.
Our project is very useIul. User is no longer required
to check his register in search oI records, as now it
can be searched over the soItware by choosing some
options. The user need not to type in most oI the
inIormation. He/she is just required to enter the
desired options. On the whole it liberates the user
Irom keeping lengthy manual records. In a nutshell, it
abates the work load oI an organization.
In today`s world, no one likes to perIorm calculations
on calculator or manually when computer is there.
Every one wants his/her work to be done by
computer automatically and displaying the result Ior
Iurther manipulations.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The Iollowing documentation is a project the
'Name oI the term paper allotted. It is a
detailed summary oI all the drawbacks oI
the old system and how the new proposed
system overcomes these shortcomings. The
new system takes into account the various
Iactors while designing a new system. It
keeps into the account the Economical
bandwidth available Ior the new system. The
Ioremost thing that is taken care oI is the
Need and Requirements oI the User.

DESCRIPTION
BeIore developing soItware we keep
Iollowing things in mind that we can
develop powerIul and quality soItware
PROBLEM STATEMENT
4Problem statement was to design a
module:
4hich is user Iriendly

4hich will restrict the user Irom
accessing other user`s data.
4hich will help user in viewing his data
and privileges.
4hich will help the administrator to
handle all the changes.

FUNCTIONS TO BE PROVIDED:
The system will be user Iriendly and
completely menu driven so that the users
shall have no problem in using all options.
4The system will be eIIicient and Iast in
response.
4The system will be customized
according to needs.

SYSTEM REQUIRMENTS
Operating system: MS indows XP or
indows Vista
Language: C Language
Processor: Pentium IV Processor
RAM: 512 MB
Hard disk: 5 GB

REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS

This process is adopted when management
oI the system development, Personnel
decide that the particular system needs
improvement. The system development liIe
cycle is the set oI activities, carried out by
the analyst, designers and users to develop
and implement a system. The systems that
are present in the nature Iollow common liIe
cycle pattern. For example consider the
raining system. Initially the rain Ialls into
the river, river Ilows into sea, the sea water
evaporates to Iorm vapors, the vapors Iorm
clouds which again bring rain. Similarly
consider a man made system initially a
system is analyzed, designed and made
operational by the eIIorts oI system analysis.
AIter successIul operation or a number oI
users, the system becomes less and less
eIIective by change in the environment. So
these changes have to be incorporated in to
the system by minor modiIications. So the

general activities Irom the liIe cycle oI the
system are given below:
OSelect ion and identiIication oI the
system to be studied
OPreliminary study
ODeIining the system
ODesign and development oI the system
OImplementation oI the system

SYSTEM DESIGN

Then we began with the design phase oI the
system. System design is a solution, a
'HO TO approach to the creation oI a
new system. It translates system
requirements into ways by which they can
be made operational. It is a translational
Irom a user oriented document to a
document oriented programmers. For that, it
provides the understanding and procedural
details necessary Ior the implementation.
Here we use Flowchart to supplement the
working oI the new system. The system thus
made should be reliable, durable and above
all should have least possible maintenance
costs. It should overcome all the drawbacks
oI the Old existing system and most
important oI all meet the user requirements.

TESTING

Testing is the major control measure used
during soItware development. Its basic
Iunction is to detect errors in the soItware.
During requirement analysis and design, the
output is a document that is usually textual
and no executable. AIter the coding phase,
computer programs are available that can be
executed Ior testing purpose. This implies
that testing not only, has to uncover errors
introduced during coding, but also errors
introduced during previous phase. Thus the
goal oI testing is to uncover the
requirements, design and coding errors in
the programs. So aIter testing the outputs oI
my project are as Iollows:

qut. OI brand5 last price oI
brand6.0000 bill was 20.0000

FUTURE SCOPE OF THE
PRO1ECT

Our project will be able to implement in
Iuture aIter making some changes and
modiIications as we make our project at a
very low level. So the modiIications that can
be done in our project are:
In Iuture one change can be done by adding
the Iingerprints oI the persons oI which the
address is entered. And one more major
change which can be done in this project is
that to add the snaps oI the person oI which
the address is entered.e can also add or
subtract details oI the individual.
