Remote keyless entry system: When the smart key unlock button is activated, the exterior lamps illuminate for 15 seconds, the interior lamps for 30 seconds. Puddle lamps: Welcome to the Cadenza. Outside door handle lights: LEDs located on the inside of the exterior door handles also light up to herald your arrival.

Performance with durability Cadenzas power comes courtesy of a new Lambda II 3.5 litre engine, providing improved powertrain performance. Durability is built in, an essential when driving in high temperature climates. Other advantages include reduced vibration, low noise when idling and accelerating, an eco oil filter that lowers maintenance costs, and reduced overall weight to enhance fuel economy.
Push button start/stop: Even before you start the engine, the sporty overtones are clear. Theres no need to turn a key, just push the button. Starting and stopping the ignition become an exercise in convenience.

Lambda II 3.5L gasoline engine: A fuel efficient, lightweight unit generating a maximum 290 ps at 6600 rpm. Composed of an aluminium cylinder block, Cadenzas powerful engine features dual continuously variable valve timing, a silent timing chain system to minimise noise, and a variable intake system to maximise efficiency.

1. Organ accelerator pedal: As befits a luxury sedan, the Cadenzas accelerator pedal is designed for maximum comfort by allowing your foot and ankle to move in the same trajectory as the pedal itself. 2. Electric Parking Brake (EPB): Activated via two computer-controlled motors attached to the brake calipers, the Electric Parking Brake prevents the car from rolling away when stationary. It automatically releases as soon as you depress the accelerator pedal. 3. 6-speed automatic transmission: Next generation Kia technology reduces the number of transmission parts, while lowered weight provides superior performance and fuel economy.

30/31 Safety

If safety is a matter of arming yourself, the Cadenza carries out the task admirably. A rigid, high-strength steel structure with reinforced side sills means energy is effectively absorbed and dispersed in the event of a collision. The Brake Assist System deploys in an emergency situation, sensing brake pedal speed and applying increased pressure to ensure a shorter braking distance. Airbags at the front and sides offer protection for both driver and passengers.
1. Front/rear, side and curtain airbags: Cadenza comes with a total of eight airbags for maximum occupant protection. An electronic sensing system monitors impact force as well as the presence of a front passenger and seat-belt use, and controls airbag inflation accordingly.

2. Electro-chromic mirror & rear view camera: While the rear view mirror senses headlight glare from cars behind and dims accordingly, a rear view camera ensures unobstructed all around vision. Increased size, increased performance: The size of the front brake caliper has been increased to secure optimum braking performance. Just one part of Cadenzas active safety features that puts your driving needs first. 3. Active headrests: Headrests move forwards and up within milliseconds of an impact, cushioning the head and helping to prevent whiplash injuries. 4. Front and rear parking assist system: Ultrasonic sensors integrated into the rear bumper warn of any obstacles when manoeuvring into a parking space.
