CITY OF TRENTO – WILMA PROJECT

Here some links to documentation, notes and downloads of tools that could turn handy in
defining the team that should work on this new project related to the City of Trento – note that
on this project we need to perform at the highest levels also in speed because basic
development needs to be done within 6 weeks and the rest of the period testing, testing and
testing, so find a very good project manager because there a lot of expectations from this
initiative which were fuelled by the partner of ours in order to win the order… all this is very
important Nishant because if it is successful, this could lead to much bigger implications and
developments for the future, so let’s get it right!

1) The logical concept behind this new development should be the implementation of a Captive
Portal that works with a Radius Server application, at least this is as a start; here some

2) We also need to design a software system that can allow new users of the wi-fi network to
be registered and have a print out of their details with also user id + password automatically
assigned in order to submit them when the Captive Portal comes up and asks for login.

3) The Captive Portal application and the relative web pages will need to be designed properly
with a part of the main page available to be reserved to the City Council of Trento which will
then need to use it for various reasons such as news, advertisements and so on, even though
this details still needs to be defined properly.
