    Approx Vacuum Levels III - 15kPa (113mmHg) II - 10kpa (75mm Hg) I - 5kPa (37mm Hg) P - Passive / Gravity Connect

    regulator line to the bottle via the luer lock fittings. Release all slide clamps on bottle & regulator line. Check tube for exudate flow. NO YES TO LOCK

    Make sure the indicator shows vacuum in bottle.

    Adjust vacuum setting to surgeons instructions, then slide lock to fix at required setting.

    Turn the suction dial to

    Dispose of full bottle as per hospital procedure. Regard When bottle is full it cannot be emptied. Replace with new bottle. Slide all clamps closed on bottle & regulator line then disconnnect bottle at luer lock. Connect new bottle with luer lock then open all slide clamps. as clinical waste.

    Passive (P). Leave for five minutes. Do not disassemble drainage line, remove drain from the patient as a complete set. Dispose as per hospital procedure.
