Span of Control
The number of subordinates reporting directly to a manger. It can be either wide i.e. with a manager directly responsible for many subordinates, Or Narrow i.e. a manager has direct responsibility for a few subordinates.

Delegation means the passing down of authority to perform tasks and take decisions from higher to lower levels in the organization.
