To contribute to the development of future employing company though my experience in PLC/SCADA system and some hands on experience.
EDUCATION Universiti Malaysia Sabah Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering CGPA: 2.37/4.00 Final Year Project Title: Design and Development of Smart Room Model using PLC This project requires the knowledge of programming a PLC (Omron) and electronics as it involves PLC as the controller and transducers like LDR. 1st Runner up, UMS Closed Science Quiz 2006. Around 1000 UMS students (includes Engineering Faculty, Science Faculty, and Medical School) competed in this competition. EXPERIENCE Muda Papermills S/B Instrument Engineer Commission the installation of BVG Super ECC (Starch Kitchen). Handled the installation of the modification of the gate valve (upgrade from manual to pneumatic actuated). Serviced solenoid valve, pneumatic cylinder and felt guide. Calibrate I/P positioner. Setting for temperature PID controller. Abbaco Controls S/B Application Engineer Jun 2010 till April 2011 May 2011 till present

TNB Mini Hydro SCADA Project In this project Abbaco Controls S/B was to provide design, procurement and commissioning service to TNB Mini Hydro SCADA Project. The SCADA software was PCVue and the communication protocol is Modbus (over RS485 and TCP/IP). This SCADA system will poll data from the PLC, Safety Relay and temperature controller. In order to have both SCADA touch screen panel (BOXVUE) and PLC as MODBUS masters, Modbus over TCP/IP was used between BOXVUE and the PLC. Performed FAT for this project and minor factory installation and alteration. Fabrication of Power Supply Unit box for Toyota Shah Alam. In this project, Abbaco Controls was to provide 9 units of power supply unit to Toyota Shah Alam. It contained a power supply unit 12V@20A, AC power cable, DC power cable c/w cable lug and a box. Fabrication of Display Unit for Proton Tanjung Malim and Konsortium Logistik Sijangkang In this project, Abbaco Controls was to provide 6 units each to Proton Tanjung Malim and Konsortium Logistik Sijangkang. The display is made up of 12 seven segment display and controlled by PIC (I was not involved in the programming of the PIC). The display unit will display the number of cars inspected, target and left over. The counting of number of cars inspected is done by using a PLC with 2 opto sensors. Commissioning of vacuum control system of Sunpower Alor Gajah In this project, I was to commission the vacuum control system done by Aerofluid for this project.

Handled the installation of motor starter for the agitator and inverter (Power Saving Project). Precision Control Installation and Contracting S/B. (PCIC) October 2009 till December 2009 Project Engineer (Syabas-Projek pengurangan air tidak berhasil) In this project, PCIC was to install Remote Telemetry System to the selected pumps and reservoirs to control the optimization of flow of water and reduce wastage. Representing PCIC in this project, I was to liaise to proper authority to work on site. Apart from that, I was to supervise the sub-con that they deliver as on specs required by the client and perform commissioning (earth test, megger test and continuity test) as well. Learned about the operation and systems in the combined cycle power plant and Gas Insulated Switchyard. Exposed to 5S work ethics/methodology as TNB is practicing it and the main contractor is a Japanese Contractor, Toshiba. Cheng Hua Engineering S/B, Klang December 2004 Jun 2005 Technical Administration Trainee (part time job before enroll into UMS) A conveyor system building engineering firm, with businesses in European countries. Updated the CAD Parts Library. This enriched me with AutoCAD knowledge, which is vital in engineering drawing. SKILLS Language Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Beginner's Level in Russian Language. Computer Experience with MS Office, Open Office, AutoCAD, PSPICE and MATLAB. Communication Protocol Modbus over RS485 and TCP/IP ACTIVITIES Toastmasters International Is a non-profit organization devoted to make effective oral communication and leadership a worldwide reality involving hands-on training and on the spot evaluation. This will cultivate a society whereby everyone helps each other to grow by giving constructive feedback. Throughout my membership (2005-09), I have achieved Competent Communicator and Competent Leader title. This simply means I gave at least 10 (mostly 5-7 minutes) speeches (for Competent Communicator title) in front of at least 10 strong audience and 2 thirty minutes presentation (one on membership building and another for how to conquer the fear of public speaking). Held the position of Vice President of Membership for 2 terms (2007/8 and 2008/9). o Responsible for the general welfare of the members, membership building and dues collection. Organized three speech contests and one seminar on personality (Myer-Briggs Type Indicator) and communication. Those events had 20 strong audience and involved around RM200. This helped in problem solving and communication skills.

Prefectorial Board Served as a prefect from 1999 2002 (La Salle, Klang), 2003 2004 (Sekolah Tengku Ampuan Rahimah). In order to lead, one must lead by example. Days in the prefectorial board made me a person of integrity and a better leader. St. Johns Ambulance Malaysia (1998-2002) Involved actively in Flag Day and Public Duty.
