Position Title: Financial Aid Director

Primary Function: Director of Financial Aid oversees student financial aid programs in accordance with federal/state laws and regulations and college policies. The position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate disbursement of financial aid funds, and overseeing the refund process. Oversees audits, compliance reviews and account reconciliations, and ensures college compliance with relevant regulations and statutes. Directly responsible for the day-to-day function of the provision of financial aid services to Leech Lake Tribal College. Monitors department/program expenditures and purchasing, recommends procedures, applies administrative policies for financial aid programs and is responsible for the submission of required financial aid reports. Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred and experience managing a student finance process within an education environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will be engaging, dedicated to students, and motivated by a strong commitment to the mission of Leech Lake Tribal College.
